NO MORE!! I have spent countless hours going through them all, I have a banker that gives me a call when someone turns in a bunch of rolled coins. I now tell her that unless it is quarters or half dollars, I no longer want them. Instead, I have been going to yard sales and have had very good luck finding people with lots of old coins, they never have them out, I alway just ask and have been very surprised at the results I have received. One case I described in an earlier CT post was a yard sale I went to and they had two sections going on; one inside the house and just outside same house and the other was a member of the family sitting just inside the opening to the barn, I went out there to see what was being offered and I saw an old coffee can with a price tag of $10.00, I ask him what was so special about the coffee can and he said it was full of pennies, I opened it and nearly dropped it, I say nothing but Indian Head Cent and Lincolns, I gave him the ten and went home. I am still going through them and thus far I have found one 1908 S in very good shape and one in what I would describe as rough with a little corrosion, I ran the coins through my counter when I got home and there were 1710 pennies, most were IHC the others were with very few exceptions all pre 58. So far my estimation of the value of the coins is well in excess of $400.

I now ask the wife if she wants to go to yard sales.

Semper Fi

Phil
