When I go through my cents I retain 1970&#039;s back. My idea is to save enough of the 70&#039;s to complete a couple of books for my kids then turn in the rest for more.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i>I find and keep what I call Oddities coins that are double stamped, missing numbers, not centered correctly, etc. I am not a collector of Canadian coins but I get enough I might as well be. My last neat find was from the Republic of Panama, 2001 kinda neat.</i></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i>I also keep any coin that has reatined its near new look shine. 2009 cents too, I have a bunch of those put away.
