<p>[QUOTE=&quot;bobbeth87, post: 623385, member: 18369&quot;]Let me tell you about my TERRIFIC, OUTSTANDING Numismatic day last Saturday.&nbsp; I&#039;ve been too busy to get these pics, but finally did it.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>First, I found 28 rolls of 2009 P dimes at one of my banks.&nbsp; I have been busy selling them since Saturday.&nbsp; My first sold for just under $50 and just over $50, so when I sold my next for a bit more than that, I may have blew it and sold several 2nd chance rolls for in the 50s.&nbsp; I say that, because they have been selling in the 60s and up to 70 since.&nbsp; I keep thinking the price on these will drop because I have now found these dimes in circulation (as you know), and at 3 different banks in my area.&nbsp; So my goal was to sell as fast as I could.&nbsp; Well, with the four I have up now, even if their price doesn&#039;t increase, I&#039;ve made $1100 since Saturday.&nbsp; So, if I cost myself a little money, OH WELL.&nbsp; I have 7 more to auction as well.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>THEN, I picked up a box of halves and went through it.&nbsp; BY FAR, the best box I&#039;ve ever had.&nbsp; I got the following:</p><ul> <li>Several 1974 D with doubling on America on back (pics later in error forum).&nbsp; Don&#039;t know if they are machine doubling or not.</li> <li>A 2003 D</li> <li>A 2002 S proof</li> <li>16 40% --&nbsp; 1 69, 6 67s, 5 68s, 3 69s, 1 70 (very low mintage)</li> <li>12 90% --&nbsp; 7 64s (many in great shape), 3 Franklins --51, 52, and 63 proof, 2 Walkers 41 and 43</li> </ul><p>I had NEVER found a walker in my life!&nbsp; What a DAY.&nbsp;&nbsp; Woo HOOO.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Of course, my luck ran out, the box of halfs I searched last night had ZERO keepers.&nbsp; None.&nbsp; I&#039;m still on a high from my Saturday box and dimes though.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Thanks for listening.&nbsp; Oh, and one question.....finding a proof in circulation, obviously it is scratched and not looking as intended, does it carry a premium?&nbsp; or is it just a cool novelty find?</p><ul> <li></li> </ul><p>[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
