This week's finds. So i searched 2 boxes of halves this week. It is amazing what you can find out there. The 2 boxes were very different in what they contained. In the first box, i was very happy to find 11 40% halves. I consider that a "good box". If i find any 1964 Kennedy halves, that's a "great" box. The second box only had 1 1968 half, but i finally found my 1st 1987-P. I also found a 2006-D and a 1972-S proof. Needless to say i was excited to find this, but a little sad, because either someone was forced to spend it, or had their collection stolen. On a different note, went into one of my local banks that usually doesn't have much and asked for half dollars. The teller in the next window said she had 2, so i bought them. I could see the white edge and hear the ring of silver when she put them down on the glass, but the real surprise was when i looked down at a 1945-S Walking Liberty!
