I do spread out my dumps at the 14 free coin counting banks so I am not a total nuisance. Many, many people come to the banks often to dump their coin jars and I love seeing the time capsules reenter the system. You can tell when you get rolled coins by how dirty and how much edge wear whether the coins have recently been dumped or been through the supermarket a zillion times. My helpful bank which orders extra halves sometimes lets a box get away to another customer before I can grab them. I know if I miss a box when the batch is running hot I have lost some good coins. I already have about 10K wrapped up in coin sorting and have lots of pretzel barrels rotating contantly. Getting the coins back quickly has become a science.</p><p> </p><p> I have found that the coin counters have a magnet which can be accessed easily and without raising bank employee alarms for tampering with the counting machines. You just lift the shute tray and feel underneath.</p><p> </p><p> I have a coffee can full of beautiful foreign coins and have found four fabulous steel pennies stuck to the magnet (about equal to the number of wafer batteries found)</p><p> </p><p> All I have today until later.
