She said she needed them for her commercial customers. I thought that was baloney, so I asked to speak with a manager. The manager wanted to start charging me $20 a box for all future boxes. So, I asked her how many rolls per week I could get at no charge. She said 25. 25 it was.</p><p><br /></p><p>I repeated this process at a couple of other banks. Some branches were more cooperative than others and, at the height of my searching, I was sorting about 3 boxes a week. Eventually the tellers stopped with the funny looks and the whole thing became routine for them. It just took a little time.</p><p><br /></p><p>I searched regularly for 3 years before my efforts began to yield less than satisfactory results. About a year ago I stopped for about 10 months. Then, one day I was in the bank and a teller asked me why I stopped. I told her I needed a break. She said she'd be happy to order me some more boxes if I wanted to start again. So, at the end of October, I started year 4. My results have been OK thus far, and I guess I'll keep at it until I hit another long dry spell.</p><p><br /></p><p>Hope this helps.
