This afternoon I stopped at the bank where I picked up $50 in cwr halves Saturday and found a couple 40%ers. They had only 1 cwr of halves left plus 2 loose. The cwr was junk, and the 2 loose were Cu-Ni clad and had been burned so they were a nasty black color. I stopped at another bank and the teller was thrilled when I asked for halves. He said someone had deposited $130 worth of halves, 34 Ikes, and 2 dime booklets dated 1957 earlier today. I thought I had ascended into Heaven! I bought everything. Here is a photo of all the goods. Obviously, someone had cashed in their collection at the second bank! I was sooo excited! I pulled an adult beverage out of the fridge and slowly sipped it as I opened the rolls and booklets... 1, ‘67 half 1, 68D half Numerous AU ‘71-76 halves, common circulated Ikes, and the dime booklets held ‘65-72 Roosevelts. Most of the Cu-Ni clad halves had corrosion on the edges like this Which is a lesson to all of us to put our coins in plastic tubes instead of paper wrappers. Here’s a photo of the AU-BU dimes inside the booklets The copyright date on the booklets was 1957. I was disappointed, but I admit opening the rolls and booklets was @$@?! exciting  Happy hunting all!
