Tom was the same age as me (61), and we both retired in Feb-2018. Made a quail hunt with him in December, and shortly afterwards he was diagnosed with pancreatic &amp; liver cancer. He suffered through much chemo treatment and was doing better until the tumors blocked his intestines. He was gone soon after that.
