I think perhaps they don't understand the coin collector hobby part of CRH and just view us as PITA customers who are not making deposits, cashing checks, or making other normal transactions. Perhaps they just view us as silver searchers. I did have a very sweet mannered young lady brand new teller sell me a box of halves yesterday. As she was debiting my account to pay for the box, she said, "May I ask you a personal question?" I said, "Sure". "What do you do with all these halves?" I told her I am building coin albums for my grandkids. I have already finished Kennedy albums for my kids and am now working on the 4 grandkids." She smiled and said, "That's so sweet!" It is the truth. I am constantly looking for errors (1974-D DDO, 1972-D "No FG", 1982-P "No FG", die cracks) as well as NIFCs (proofs, 1987-P&D, 2002+). If a see a really nice AU or BU coin, I upgrade my duplicate tubes for the day when I actually load the grandkids albums with the best coins. Finding silver is a bonus for why I got started CRH. Sure, it has become more and more important as I've caught the silver bug, but I'm still a coin collector at heart.
