Stopped by my bank with a self-serve coin machine. Branch Manager knows me and said the machine was on the fritz. But she did pull several bags off the machine after an elderly lady came in to dump some coins (bells going off in my head!). She said the cent bag accidentally was programmed to take $100 instead of the usual $50, but it might be worth taking because the lady dumped her coins in that one first. Manager said the lady also dumped some dimes and quarters (no halves - ). So I bought the $100 cent bag, a $1000 dime bag, and a $1000 quarter bag for Wheats and Silvers. The cent bag didn't disappoint - 65 Wheats (including a '24 & '29). Also (2) 1955 (no DDO, ). I was able to upgrade 5 or 6 coins in my Dansco and saving the rest for the grandkids albums. Tomorrow, I start on the dime bag. Tempted to just hunt for silvers, but will probably look for 2009 and 1982 no mint mark just to be safe. 10,000 coins - that 's going to take awhile like the cents did.
