Also finished up another $100 box of nickels, again all Loomis. This box fared much better for pickers than the box of cents from the previous post. Started out with 4 QE Canadians. Then found a LOT Of pre-60's.

1938

1939

1940 x5

1940D

1941 x4

1941D x2

1942

1942D

and another 21 from post 1945. The "19" was gone but the "23" was clearly visible. Sadly, it had a bit of corrosion on the obverse. Still, pretty neat to pull a buffalo out of a roll of nickels.

The other find was a 1996P nickel that is slightly off-center. It is shifted NW from the 4 o'clock to the 10 o'clock position (from the obverse perspective) and the off-centering is on both sides. The shift is slight but it is significant enough that the top of the last three letters in "TRUST" are missing. I have no idea how to calculate percentage of "off-centeredness" but I don't believe it is enough to give the coin a premium. But I'll 2x2 and hold on to it just as a curiosity piece.
