Thanks, Ethan. Here's some tricks I've had to learn over the years... I've had to change things up a bit in the way I approach ordering and depositing coin to keep the peace. When I choose a bank to order from, I'm straightforward with the vault teller as to my intentions but promised to never "dump" them back at that banking center. I also take them the occasional dozen donuts or bagels to show my appreciation. An act of kindness goes a long way. I also have learned over the years that ordering the coins from a bank that handles a lot of retailer transactions helps as they are usually placing large orders for coins anyways. Also, making sure you pick up your coins the day they call is important because usually the banks (at least around here) have small vaults so they are always worried about having enough room. Additionally, asking the teller what limit they are comfortable ordering for you and sticking to that amount on a weekly basis seems to be taken well. In other words, don't get overzealous with ordering at order dozens of boxes if the teller has said he/she would be comfortable only ordering half a dozen boxes. One more thing...Your relationship with the bank where you deposit the coins is nearly as important as the relationship you have with the vault teller where you order the coins. There are several banking centers and multiple banks where I deposit coins. Some offer poly-bags where I can just dump the coins into bags of $500 and send them off to be counted and re-deposited into my account. Others require the coins to be hand rolled but give me instant access to cash. She continued by stating that she would give me cash in return also and that I wouldn't have to wait to have them sent off to be counted. Since that interaction, all I do is bring her in bags on a Monday and head down to my other bank on a Monday afternoon to pickup my new boxes. Then search and repeat.
