<p>[QUOTE=&quot;ChesterCoperPot, post: 1411407, member: 25391&quot;]Well after almost a year of Half Dollar roll hunting here are my results.&nbsp; I would have had a more broken down analysis but I accidently erased most of my records.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here are my results though after 100 boxes of halves.</p><p><br /></p><p>148 40%ers</p><p>13 90%ers</p><p>4 Bennys</p><p>4 Walkers</p><p>1 Barber</p><p>1 90% Silver Proof (2002)</p><p><br /></p><p>Foreign:</p><p>1812 Portugal 5 Reis</p><p>1970 Bermuda 50 Cents</p><p>1975 Jamaica 50 Cents</p><p>1975 Spain 50 Ptas</p><p>1981 Mexico 10 Pesos</p><p>1987 Portugal 50 Escudos</p><p><br /></p><p>I think I had about a 42% find rate.&nbsp; That is to say almost 42% of the time I found at atleast 1 Silver coin, so that equates to a 58% skunk rate.</p><p><br /></p><p>I never did land a huge box.&nbsp; My buddy that I got started on this though, and who has done considerably less boxes than me (probably about 30 boxes I&#039;d estimate) opened boxes of 18 and 22 total silvers in front of me.&nbsp; While those aren&#039;t huge, they are still a very good score and beat anything I&#039;ve done.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>My top 10 boxes were these:</p><p>1. 13 silvers (11-40s/2-90s)</p><p>2. 13 silvers (12-40s/1-90)</p><p>3. 12 silvers (11-40s/1-90)..I pulled this one tonight, was box 100</p><p>4. 11 silvers (10-40s/1-90)</p><p>5. 9 silvers (8-40s/1-90)</p><p>6. 9 silvers (9-40s)</p><p>7. 8 silvers (7-40s/1-90)</p><p>8. 8 silvers (8-40s)</p><p>9. 7 silvers (6-40s/1-90)</p><p>10. 7 silvers (6-40s/1-90)</p><p><br /></p><p>I found 11 more 40%ers &amp; 3 90%ers in loose.&nbsp; So my grand total is 159 40%ers &amp; 16 90%ers along with the other older ones I found and foreign.</p><p><br /></p><p>While my numbers aren&#039;t off the chart, and I haven&#039;t had near as much luck as some folks have had on here, it was still fun, and I enjoy doing it.&nbsp; It&#039;s still a nice little stack of silver that I found at face value.</p><p><br /></p><p>I think it would be pretty cool to get enough halves to be able to fill a $500 box with silver halves.&nbsp; Maybe someday I&#039;ll get there.</p><p><br /></p><p>One more little tidbit to add.&nbsp; In addition to the halves I found above with the silver dimes, nickels, and 1 silver quarter I&#039;ve found as well I have a total of just over 36 troy ounces of silver I&#039;ve pulled form circulation.&nbsp; For some reason I messed up my calculations a few months ago and I think I said I found about 45 ty. oz. of silver but that was a mistake.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>HH all,</p><p><br /></p><p>-Chester[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
