<p>[QUOTE=&quot;AceFranklin, post: 1331525, member: 31165&quot;]<b>One of those days</b></p><p><br /></p><p>I&#039;ll start with the fact that I had $500 in halves to dump and another $500 in cash.</p><p><br /></p><p>I stop at a bank on my way to dump and decide to grab whatever I can in customer wraps....I get:</p><p><br /></p><p>$100 in Quarters - Skunk</p><p>$150 in Dimes - Turns out she didn&#039;t have customer wrapped, but I figured I&#039;d take em anyway...all 2011&#039;s.&nbsp; Skunk</p><p><br /></p><p>I go to a TD Bank to dump that I hit maybe 2-3 times a month as it&#039;s near a restaurant where I want to get a Christmas Gift Certificate.&nbsp; I stopped in there last week on Friday night and asked for a box of dimes, but I didn&#039;t dump.&nbsp; So, the teller (a young 20-somthing blonde) asks me if I have a business account.&nbsp; I say I used to but I don&#039;t anymore.&nbsp; She says that they normally only order boxes for business customers.&nbsp; I said the vault manager had ordered them for me in the past.&nbsp; She offers me $40 that she has in the tray, and I say no thanks.&nbsp; I like to go through boxes.&nbsp; So, then she givess me this funny look and says, are you a collector.&nbsp; I said yes I am.&nbsp; She says that then they definitely can&#039;t give me boxes, as it is &#039;Coin Mining&#039; (I never heard that one before).&nbsp; I say what do you mean by that?&nbsp; She explains that it costs money to order and if I dump there it costs money to run the coins and send them back.&nbsp; I said, ok but I have an account and have had one with them for close to 14 years, and if I do bring coins in it&#039;s about 2-3 times a month.&nbsp; I said thanks anyway and just walked out.&nbsp; I was pleasant though.</p><p><br /></p><p>So, today I&#039;m dumping my $500 in halves in the machine and some young guy in a suit comes over and tells me it&#039;s o.k. if I count my change today but I can&#039;t use the machine again for halves or large amounts of currency.&nbsp; THat it is for people that want to bring in change from home and things like that.&nbsp; I looked at him with a very blank look and said, ok.&nbsp; Funny though, when I had a vending route and a business account I never had an issue.&nbsp; It&#039;s not like I&#039;m doing something illegal.&nbsp; He then babbles on about the coin mining, blah, blah, blah.&nbsp; So, I just sit there and stare at him with a blank look on my face.&nbsp; When he&#039;s done and apologizes, I said that&#039;s fine if you want to run your branch like that.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>I get my money and go get 2 boxes of Halves.</p><p><br /></p><p>Box 1: Skunk</p><p>Box 2: 2 x 40%ers</p><p><br /></p><p>Since I wrapped up work early I go and dump at a bank where they don&#039;t hassle me and go pick up 2 more boxes from my weekly order.</p><p><br /></p><p>Box 3: Skunk</p><p>Box 4: Skunk</p><p><br /></p><p>What a hassle today turned out to be.</p><p><br /></p><p>I am half tempted to go in with about $500 in Halves re-rolled.&nbsp; Take them to the counter and say, I want to deposit them. When they say they can&#039;t take them and I should use the machine.&nbsp; I&#039;ll say, Oh...I was told I&#039;m not allowed too as it&#039;s COIN MINING!</p><p><br /></p><p>Then I&#039;ll go to another branch an hour later and withdraw the money.&nbsp; If there weren&#039;t about 8 TD banks within a 20 minute drive I&#039;d be really annoyed, but it&#039;s probably not worth wasting any more energy on this band of idiots!&nbsp; I know it was that dumb, young teller.&nbsp; I&#039;d like to tell her when she was poppin pimples, and wearing a training bra I was in there with a business account that ran more money through in a year than she&#039;s made in a lifetime.&nbsp; However, it&#039;s probably not worth the trouble.</p><p><br /></p><p>Never argue with a fool...you&#039;ll never win!</p><p><br /></p><p>I&#039;m taking the rest of the weekend off and enjoying the Holiday!</p><p><br /></p><p>Merry Christmas too all!</p><p><br /></p><p>Ace[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
