Washington 90% commem.&nbsp; This averages to 23.15 silvers per $500 (equivilent to a box).</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Total Half dollar finds of:</b></p><p>1740 40%ers (79.82%)</p><p>440 90%ers (20.18%) including 21 Walkers, 64 Franklins, 2 silver proofs, 1 early commem</p><p><br /></p><p>Also found were 2 silver foreign coins:</p><p>1968 Medio Balboa (Panama)</p><p>1958 100 Lira (Italy)</p><p><br /></p><p>Also searched during this time:</p><p>30 dime boxes:&nbsp; 21 Roosies and 2 Mercs (0.7 per box)</p><p>9 dime bags (equiv of 4 boxes each) 44 Roosies (1.22 per box equivilent)</p><p>Loose/bank:&nbsp; 10 Roosies and 1 Merc</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Total of 78 silver dimes </b> (75 Roosies and 3 Mercs)</p><p><br /></p><p>I also have found 3 loose silver quarters and 4 silver war nickels (out of about 5 or 6 boxes).</p><p><br /></p><p><b><u>Total silver coins found at face value: 2267</u>.</b></p><p><br /></p><p>Interesting stats on halves:</p><p><br /></p><p>First 100 boxes:&nbsp; 340 silvers (21.47% of them 90%ers) for an average of 3.40 per box</p><p>2nd 100 boxes:&nbsp; 332 silvers (20.18% of them 90%ers) for an average of 3.32 per box</p><p>3rd 100 boxes:&nbsp; 343 silvers (23.91% of them 90%ers) for an average of 3.43 per box</p><p>4th 100 boxes:&nbsp; 284 silvers (20.77% of them 90%ers) for an average of 2.84 per box</p><p><br /></p><p>As you can see, VERY consistent for the first 300.&nbsp; The last 100 shows a measurable dropoff (it certainly seemed that way to me).</p><p><br /></p><p>Total Skunk boxes in the 400:&nbsp; 185 (46.25%)</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>I obviously put all my finds on a spread sheet.</p><p><br /></p><p>I have been very consistent, not as successful as some, but pretty dang successful!!!&nbsp; I&#039;m extremely pleased (as you can imagine).[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
