Well, I am not complaining or anything, because I love any and all silver that comes my way but today I was cashing my paycheck and I ask for half dollars or any other kinds of "funny munny." The teller said she had $26 in halves. I snagged them all, and they were all loose no wrappers so I jam them in my pocket. As I am walking home I start to thumb through a few of them, transfering them from one pocket to the other. I found 2 40%ers, both 1967s. Now, I am very, very excited and grateful as these two halves represent the largest haul of silver I have ever had with half dollars...which is strange because statistically I should be finding a lot more of those at one time, and a lot less dimes, quarters, etc etc...but no. Anyways, here is my deal WHY ARE ALL THE HALVES I FIND IN CIRCULATION ALWAYS FROM 1967?!?! Seriously, I mean when it comes to Quarters I have found 1957, 1961, and 1964 (mostly 1964s) all in circulation. Dimes, 1946, 1949, 1961, etc etc. Halves, always 1967. What are the odds? Out of all the years of silver halves, and the 5 years of 40%ers, I always find 1967. I think it is an omen...of what I do not know. Maybe I will die in 2067? Maybe I will be married for 67 years? I have no clue...but it is very strange.
