<p>[QUOTE=&quot;AceFranklin, post: 1231689, member: 31165&quot;]Todays finds:</p><p><br /></p><p>Searched my 3rd box of 4 since my return from business trip.&nbsp; 1 x 1969 Kennedy (Skunk is broken)</p><p>At TD when cashing in I found a 1964 Quarter....that makes $3.00 in quarters without searching for any.</p><p>Also - they checked the magnet and found 2 Ikes in there.&nbsp; Grabbed them too.</p><p><br /></p><p>An interesting thing occured while at TD Bank.&nbsp; I was cashing in $499.80 of dimes.&nbsp; About 1/3 of the way through the dump the bag fills up.&nbsp; A lady who has helped me in the past comes out and starts monkeying around with the pennies and then realized that wasn&#039;t the problem.&nbsp; However, she had spent about 5 minutes messing around with the maching and hitting a bunch of buttons.&nbsp; She then asks for help.&nbsp; Another teller comes over and they change the quarters and finally the dimes.&nbsp; Then everything seems o.k.</p><p><br /></p><p>I go back to cashing the rest in, and the total was for $351 and change.&nbsp; I&#039;m like oh boy....I&#039;ve read about this...this isn&#039;t good.</p><p><br /></p><p>So, I explain the situation to the one teller who helped and I&#039;m thinking it&#039;s about a week at least before I get my other $148.80 as it&#039;ll have to go to Brinks and they&#039;ll have to count it.&nbsp; It turns out my suspicion was right that when the other lady was banging on the buttons she cleared ALL of the totals from the machine.&nbsp; They had no way of telling what was deposited at all today at that point.</p><p><br /></p><p>Now - to set some background...this is my main dump bank.&nbsp; I have brought them Donuts and Salt Water Taffy only a few weeks ago.&nbsp; So, they honor my word and give me $499.57 back to me and said they&#039;ll take it out of a slush account and reconcile it against their own accounts when Brinks get back to them.&nbsp; I also explained that 4 dimes didn&#039;t go through so I kept them.&nbsp; The machine should have counted $499.40.&nbsp; I guess there was $.17 in the machine from the previous person that didn&#039;t get counted.</p><p><br /></p><p>I was very surprised and I sincerely appreciated it.&nbsp; I told them that.&nbsp; I think the teller was a little mad at the other lady for just banging on stuff without getting help.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>By the time it was all said and done, I got $.17 over what I cashed in, 2 Ikes, and a free Silver Quarter.&nbsp; All in all not too bad.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>:thumb:[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
