Doing it that way would almost double the time it takes to run a box through the machine.</p><p><br /></p><p>After that, I hand sort for wheaties, and I find any straggler zincs.&nbsp; I will usually find 3-4 stragglers, out of 2500 P&#039;s sorted.&nbsp; When I first tested the machine, I checked how many Cu P stragglers were in with the zinc, and it was maybe 2 or 3 Cu P&#039;s out of 2500.&nbsp; So, with those numbers, I found that running the whole box, and running the Cu P&#039;s a second time, I was losing maybe 2 or 3 Cu P&#039;s, and only had to sort out 3 or 4 zincs while searching for wheaties.&nbsp; The whole thing takes about 1.5 hours, and another half-hour to roll the zincs up.</p><p><br /></p><p>Time wise, very efficient.&nbsp; I suppose if I had some kind of hopper with a feed wheel, I could up the quantity per hour, but that would take more time and $$ to set up.&nbsp; At this time, I can&#039;t justify shelling out $500 for a Ryedale; maybe if I was doing 50+ boxes/month, it would be worth it, but that would be costing me $300+/month in FV of Cu P&#039;s; right now, I could only afford maybe $50-$100/month in FV to invest in Cu P&#039;s.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you ask nicely, I&#039;ll post some pics of the holder I made, and how I set up the machine.&nbsp; <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie8" alt=":D" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>PS: Did a box of D&#039;s last night and found two Roosies. :nice-smile:[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
