<p>[QUOTE=&quot;Aggiecollector, post: 1204431, member: 19545&quot;]Bare with me, a fun day of pirating.&nbsp; I have a lot of days off during the summer so those are my best months.</p><p><br /></p><p>1.Slept in a bit then got up to head out.&nbsp; Decided to get a box to start the day.&nbsp; Bob Cap one has boxes dated June 6th if you need any.&nbsp; Found 1 1967 and one nice 1998S. </p><p>2.&nbsp; Headed to a yard sale near my mother in laws that I knew had some coins.</p><p>3.&nbsp; Since I was in a new area, I stopped at two banks.&nbsp; First did not have any halves.&nbsp; 2nd had 5 rolls in a baggie with 1968-1974 written in sharpie.&nbsp; First roll 6 40%&#039;ers, 2nd roll 20 68&#039;s, third roll 20 69&#039;s and so on.&nbsp; In total, 72 of the 100 coins in the 5 rolls were 40%&#039;ers.:hail: </p><p>4.&nbsp; Made it to the yard sale.&nbsp; Sat inside with the guy for an hour and a half going throuugh coins.&nbsp; He gave me a 5 CD set of some world book of coins guide (Not familiar with it or remember exact name but in my truck).&nbsp; When I left I walked out with a bag of appx 4 pounds of silver coins mostly 1 ounce Bullion coins such as ASE&#039;s and Maples. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie9" alt=":eek:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p>5.&nbsp; Since I had tapped more cash that expected, I stopped by the coin shop on the way home.&nbsp; Sold 6 rolls of 40%&#039;ers for $97 a roll.&nbsp; Was going to come back and buy some BU Franklins from them later when I had $1,000 to spend so no tax.&nbsp; The guy said as long as what I sold was over what I bought, I did not have to pay tax.&nbsp; That was new so I Cherry picked the BU and Proof Franklins.</p><p>6.&nbsp; Bought (traded) for some gorgeous Franklins.&nbsp; Found a 70D 40% half in the box which he sold to me for $5.78.</p><p>7.&nbsp; Headed home and stopped in a bank near my house to find $12 in halves of which 11 were 40%&#039;ers.</p><p>8.&nbsp; Pulled up to camp to get my kids at 4:59 with a minute to spare.</p><p>9.&nbsp; Checking the dates, one of the Morgans is a better date 1896S which could be a nice return!</p><p><br /></p><p>Anyway, a pirate&#039;s work is never done so back at it tomorrow!</p><p><br /></p><p>Erin[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
