Today's finds Thanks for your response Slamster in regards to the lady with all the junk silver she is willing to sell me. I willl just play it by ear and see when she gets the coins. I will make here a decent offer, probably around spot. Hopefully she can keep an eye out for loose silver around the bank too, but this may back fire as she might try and keep it and sell it to me too...lol. Anyway, I did pick up a box of halves today. And man these Brinks boxes have been nice to me lately. Found: 12 40%ers (2 were enders) 1 90%er another counter-stamped "gold-plated" half 1987 Portugal 50 Escudos (copper-nickel) Odd thing is I found Zero NIFC '02 and up in this box. Which I'm fine with. I stopped hanging on to these, and actually dumped everything I had. I don't know what to do with them. I had about $60 worth of NIFC '02 and up that were in good shape. I've been short on money lately so I decided heck with them. If I decide to stock up on them again, I know I'll find plenty more in the future. This was a fun box. One more box coming Thursday, this one will be a String & Sons which really haven't yielded me much. Next week I should have a box to search every day of the week, that should be fun. Here is a pic of the dirty '64 I found w/ the counter-stamp & Portuguese coin.
