I go in the first bank and they had $66 in halves. I open the ends to see silver on the end of 4 of the rolls. I close them for my kids to look through later. I go into the second bank. The guy teller, says oh yes, I have old halves for you (Hoping, but really thinking he just means &quot;not new uncirculated ones&quot;). He pulls 5 rolls out of his drawer and opens one end to show me silver. Yum! As I am walking out the vault teller flags me down and asks if I want more as she has $160 in the vault if I want them Monday. Of course I say yes. She then tells me they have had them forever but nobody ever wants them. When I get in the car, I notice the 5 rolls he gave me are date stamped by the bank March 2006. I really think these have been sitting in that bank for 5 years...CRAZY as there are many people around here that hunt.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Anyway: 2 banks (Less than 10 minutes of real time) 11 rolls and $6 loose.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>65 40% halves</p><p>13 1964 halves</p><p>1 1963</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Including one roll of BU 1965&#039;s and one roll BU 1966&#039;s. They are gorgeous!&nbsp; $411 worth of silver for $39.50.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>So milestone for 40% silver halves hit today. Total found since July 2009 stands at 2,026 40% silver half dollars.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Crazy to think that Bob and I have now pulled over 3,000 of them together in the last year and a half.
