My weekly $500 coin counter dime bag gave up a '46 and '56.

 

before picking up two boxes of halves today I hit up a few banks. First one had $300Qs and $50Ds. Nothing in dimes but quarters gave a 54 and 64D. Next bank - nothing. Next two picked up $440Qs -nothing, $365Ds - 13 roosies. And the teller said she got some silver dollars a couple weeks ago "1924 or something like that" she says. Of course she took them for herself. Hopefully these boxes of Hs will be a little bit interesting.

 

Garda screwed up my delivery of Halves today. No halves...probably saved me some time, but I went to the bank at lunch and on my way home (not on my way) to find out...never came. Maybe it's time to give up on the Halves. They're starting to P@*! me off lately!

 

2 skunkers on halves today for me. 44-d war nickel saved the day for silver though out of my box of Nickels.

My buddy scored 2 Bennys & a Walker today out of a box.

Seems like you are having next to no luck anymore w/ halves. Hang in there, a good box is around the corner.

 

Today was the last day I was going to do boxes of halves. Picked up all my leftover orders, 6 boxes.

First two had 1 40%er each, next two both had 40% enders. The third boxes ender was the only silver, but #4 had 23 40%ers and a 64. Box 5 had 1 40%er and 1 '64. Box six had 3 40%ers and 2 '64's.

Six boxes, no skunks, 30 40%ers and 4 '64's. What a day!

Also picked up 300 Ikes, and pulled an XF-AU '72 T2.

 

10 cwr of halves... nothing. Picked up 25 ikes. One teller had a silver quarter and dime but wouldn't give them up.

It's a funny game isn't it? Just when you think you should throw in the towel, the silver bug puts a lethal bite into you and before you know it you've completely relapsed, LOL. Nice haul Merc. I'm hoping to grab 2 boxes tomorrow, need to make up for tonight's 2 skunks!

 

Got a Brinks box today. Skunk. Again, the rolls were folded over at the end, almost as if someone had searched through then dumped them. I told my husband not to order them because the last two times they were junk. Same thing today. He won't do it again.

Almost halfway through April and I've found next to nothing. Bums me out.

 

Road the border today. $240 CWR halves from MA - skunk. $240 BWR halves from NH - skunk. That NH bank has another $200 BWR. We'll see what going on there tomorrow.

several weird nickels with what looks like miniature fish scales drawn on them.
1 1939 one farthing coin

and there were 6 loose nickels in the box, not in rolls. all the rolls were full.
And another bank forgot to order my 2 boxes of dimes for today so i didn't get any more rosies

 

Thee boxes of dimes -7 roosies, 6 of which came out of one box. Box of nickels - 1 war, 1 1999s, and a 2009d.

 

that's one **** of a box!! Hope I get that lucky one day.

 

Doesn't include the 30 40%ers I found today, or my unfilled rolls, or my new T2.
