2 boxes of dimes, first had a merc and 3 roosies, second had one roosie.

 

box of halves 5-40%ers
1 -nifc 1987 p my first one
4 -2011 D nifc like brand new

 

Went on a mini bank run today after work: (a line between each bank)

$470 in BWR Halves: 62, 64, 2 x 65

$430 CWR Halves - skunk, marked (already dumped)

$30 CWR halves - 1x 67
$7 halves - 4x 40%

$65 halves ($50 in tubes (free tubes!!)) and $15 loose - 22 x 40%

$40 CWR - skunk

$350 CWR - still searching, but doesn't look promising

also got a SLV Roosie dime when returning some of the halves.

Totals for the day

$250 in CWR dimes, 2 Rosie's 1964, 1957. I also got 1 Canadian dime (clad) and 1 Singapore 10c piece.

Box of dimes- Skunk

That's the first skunk box from my go to bank.

 

Haven't bothered posting much....last 3 boxes of Halves: Skunk

19 out of my last 21 boxes of halves have been skunks.

 

2 boxes halves: skunk (what a surprise....)
4 boxes dimes: one 1916 Barber (MY FIRST! ) and 5 rosies, one with really cool toning.
0.5 boxes nickels: one war and a 1939-S!, will go through the rest tomorrow!
So yeah, I'm gonna forget about order half dollar boxes for a while and just do dimes and nickels They're more fun to search anyway, and produce more silver.

 

Only found a 68 and 64 in my half boxes this week. The 64 was a beauty so I am hoping my next batch of boxes will be full of them. One thing I haven't found in awhile is a proof half.

Bought a nickel and penny box today. Found 20,25,26 buffs and a 42d. Found a few older wheats in the penny box. A 1910, 1920, and what I think is a 26s. Posted a pic in the whats it worth thread. My daughter found a 42 Canadian penny as well.

 

I did 2 boxes of nickels and only got a war nickel it was an ender 44d
also got some gems like a 52s and a 54s. And two 39...........................P's. Lol still good finds

 

$160 in cwr of halves... 1976 clad proof and a 2010 nifc. 10 bwr nickels... 3 pre 60, one canadian, and a 1936 buffalo.

 

Yeah, no need to weigh the '68s just use a magnet. Great finds in the Dimes though! wow!

Yesterday I did one box of dimes.....skunk

 

Been searching for almost a year now and I have never found a silver proof half dollar from let's say the 50's or 60's. I'd also like to land a modern silver proof half.

Did 2 more boxes of halves - 2 more skunks

This is getting depressing now so I may give it a rest for a while. These boxes were my own coins I think. They were full of nice NIFCs and about a rolls worth of nice 1986 coins. I cashed in a few 100 NIFCs and some nice 86 and 87 halves a few months ago. Maybe they are coming back around.

Still have 2 more boxes sitting here

 

The only silver proof I have found is a 76. Got it in a CWR $20 roll a few months ago. Its a beauty. Must have been taken right out of the proof set and put into that roll.

I doubt I have any SMS coins. Need to see one to compare.

 

Went on a bank run. Nine banks, zilch for halves.

 

My bad, I got a 40%er 76' too. Is that a proof or just an "S" minted coin. Since it's not 90% silver. I want a 90% silver proof!

Picked up $135 in CWR dimes - skunk
I was so ticked because I have not scored silver all week and I've been hitting dimes so I could find SOMETHING.
So I went to another bank and picked up a box of dimes.
Went through $150 so far and found a 1964 Roosie & 1945 Merc.
Now I'm all fired up and want to find more, but alas I'm here at work.

Got some boxes to pick up tomorrow after I drop off these dimes. Hopefully I don't get shorted more than $5.00 and it eats up all my silver profits. Although I have never sold any silver so it's not really profit yet.

Got 1 box yesterday and it was a skunk. I have 4 boxes to pick up today but I just don't have the energy to do it. I may go get them tomorrow...or not. Who knows.
