Out of $ 20 in nickels yesterday, I found a 1941, and 3 1946's, all in average circulated condition. In the last roll however, a really nice find: a 1940 D, AU to Uncirc. with a reddish mint luster. :)

pardon me and my naivity... but what is a WAM?

Also, got a box of halves from Bank of America. Came in a brinks small box... was easy to carry, but not one piece of silver. Only thing worthwhile was a 2002.

Look on the reverse. Wide A M in AMERICA. That's a freak; the A and M are supposed to be just about touching.

A while ago, I got a few rolls of halves, opened them as usual, ALL SILVER! 5 roll full in all! (after i went back in) All together, it was 43 1964 Kennedys, 26 Franklins, and 31 Walkers!

Another 8 boxes of halves. Not the killer lot I had going.

    12 40%
    2 64s
    1 worn walker 1920

    Hard work. 2 per thousand.

I did get lucky though when I was at a teller. I noticed a dozen silver halves in the tellers tray next to mine and asked if I could have those.
No one blinked. They were all AU 1967's. Now that was easy!

I searched s rolls of cents yesterday and came up with 5 wheats from the fourties and fifties. The oldest find though was a 1932 canadian cent in XF.

Not much luck checking rolls. Nothing earlier then the 50's in nickels ($50 worth), and only 12 "S" mintmarks from $20 in pennies. However, in random change, I got a 1938 wheat, an 1898 indian, one silver nickel, and a mercury dime. This occurred within one week.

    So, I'll be in a famine mode...lol
