That's exactly what I'm talking about. Posts from Rich H and another guy Ugotit. I've read posts back into 2009 by these guys with my jaw just on the floor, me being so close to them and all. They were pulling monster amounts of silver out of the system. Now it's dry. I've done my research to try and get better results but I have not figured it out yet. I still need to figure out where he was dumping coins. Bags that hold $1000 in halves would be a dream. TD and the $100 bags kill me. Rich was from Hartford but from what I hear now is that it's bad news up there. I have the week off between X-mas and new years and I'm going to place orders for halves at as many banks as I can and go search and dump them as quick as I can. Maybe I'll run into something to at least cover my gas and expenses.

I can't even imagine that there is somewhere out there that is unsearched, people are too educated about silver nowadays. If I hear of anything I'll be sure to let you know after I've stripped it of all it's worth...lol.

had another decent day in dimes again. started by picking up two boxes of dimes. 3 roosies from one, other skunk. then went to bank 2 to dump, picked up $300CWR dimes and $140 Ikes (some of which are high grade), bank 3 picked up $75 CWR dimes cuz thats all I had, bank 4 picked up $100 CWR dimes, bank 5 dumped and went through $220 of CWR quarters - 1 delaware proof, bank 6 - $430 CWR dimes. Each bank I picked dimes up from yielded silver. totals for the day:
5 mercs all from one roll (41,2x43,2x45)
    12 roosies: 50S, 57P, 59D, 61D,2x62D, 63D, 4x64P, 64D
also 7 CA, 2 mexican 10cents, one ecuador dime, one dime from east caribbean states
also possibly another FEV...need to take a closer look at it cuz its a little worn

Went and cashed in 100 dollars in nickels and got 6 rolls of cwr halves. The teller said they were already searched through and even had two marker coins with the guy's initials TC. Went out to the car opened them up and found 2 1967's and 1 1968 D! Not bad for already searched rolls.

After the horrible 6 skunk boxes yesterday, I got my 5 good boxes today. I found 36 40%ers and 3 90%ers. Thank god. I would've hated spending all that time and effort this week for nothing.

Finished another box of halves. This one produced five 40%'ers: three '66, one '68 and a '69.

Going on vacation next week and plan to pick up boxes along the way in out of the way towns. This will be my first road trip getting coins on the way. It will be interesting to see what I find. Going through Vegas and plan to pick up a box or two there.

Thank you. It had a bunch of crud on the back I thought was an S. I was running all over the house looking for my loope overjoyed. After I plucked it off I was a little disappointed but still excited.

    You cleaned it?!

Just kidding, nice find... Finding BU wheats and IHC's are tough, let alone both in the same box.

No, I'd never clean a coin. I just lightly used my fingernail to pluck off the little black speck that looked like an S.
Thanks, it's my first on the IHC. I'm not sure if that wheat could swing BU or not. More than likely an AU. Has a little wear probably from being in the roll.

    Amazing penny box!

A couple weeks ago I picked up a box of wrapped pennies from the bank. 6 rolls through i noticed I had well over 50 Bu copper pennies from 1960-1980. I tried selling it on ebay but no luck so I searched it myself. I am glad it didnt get away! I havnt counted them yet but I got a whole bunch thats for sure, one roll had 38 red coppers in it

Great find on the 09 IHC!!!!!

Today, I couldn't find any halves so I picked up 10 rolls of dimes and found one silver Roosie :)

Also, I got 2 1957 Silver Certificates (one was a star note as well) in excellent condition. :D I posted pics in the paper forum http://www.cointalk.com/t196622/
