I haven't found a silver coin in weeks now. Another 3 boxes this weekend were skunks - I really have to get off the schnide - perhaps I'll have to try my hand at dimes since you guys are having luck

Tried cents for the first time with a modest $10. 5 wheat, 3 Canadian, 12 '09, 171 copper and the remaining 809 zinc.
Because one goal was to fill my Whitman folders and because Philadelphias are rare here in California, I separated those out. I counted 51 P, meaning the remaining 758 were D. That's about a 15 to one ratio.
The Northeast probably has almost all P and only a few D. There must be some sweet spot in the US were the mix is roughly even.

Had a good start to the week.

First box of halves = Seven 40%'ers and one 90%'er. Easily my best halve box since I started CRHing.
Second box of halves = One 90%er.

Have a lot to dump tomorrow and have two more boxes of halves to pick up. This week will be busy. I have about 7 more boxes of halves, including tomorrow, to pick up and will do dimes towards the end of the week. Hopefully today is a sign of a strong week!

Got this from a roll not too long ago. The piece wasn't originally separated but my attempt to get it home without breaking it off wasn't successful. Luckily I kept up with the little piece though and now its pretty cool to see the lamination and the piece that broke off.

Cashed in $283 in dimes and hit up another bank that I have never scored silver from. They used to have S&Sons rolls but now have the clear rolls. So I only asked for $50 in dimes. I got $40 worth of the clear rolls and $10 worth of CWR. Scored a 1954 Roosie along with 6 modern Canadian in the CWR. Not bad since I only had to unroll those two CRW's. I'll be able to spend or exchange those clear rolls that have never once produced. Cherry picking teller????

Two more boxes of halves searched.

    Box 1 = one 40%'er
    Box 2 = Skunk

I also found a gold plated or painted 1972 and a half that only had the head side of the coin and was hollow on the tail side.

First box of dimes I've ever got- 1961 D

I got another box to go through but it might have to wait since I have the worst luck on my bday... Nevermind, I'm not superstitious.

Went through a small lot of dimes wrapped with Dunbar Cash Vault Service labels. Found a heavy percentage of late 60's/early 70's dates, no silver though. Drat.

Went to go pick up a box of dimes on lunch at BoA but they were jammed with people. It was prob for the better because they have supplying me with solid 2011 boxes for a couple weeks now. I head on over to another bank that typically does not sell me boxes but will sell me $100 in dimes so that's what I got. Mix of $50 BWR and $50 CWR. The CWR were rolled perfectly and must have come from someone's piggybank or something. Score 1 x 1964 Roosie in BU condition. Very nice looking dime. My volume has been down this week because of all of the 2011's floating around but I still managed a silver dime two days in a row with only $150 total searched. CWR are treating me well this week.

For me it goes in waves, at the begining of the month I could not find a silver dime in 5 boxes, today I got one out of $100. Try and see if you can get some CWR, maybe those will treat you a little better. It's a battle for sure, just keep pluggin'.
