Finished off those two boxes of halves last night around midnight after I got out of work.
    Box 1 - 6 x 40%er's
    Box 2 - 2 x 40%er's

The first box was fun to open when every 10th roll or so had a silver. I got some Godiva Biscuits for my dump bank today when I drop off $996.00 in halves to be sent out and counted.

Since 9/3 I've done 6 boxes of halves and have gotten exactly ONE 40%er in each box. I shouldn't complain since they aren't skunks but I need to hit a good box soon. Gotta ramp up my volume. The new baby is cutting into my sleep and lugging boxes around NYC in my backpack is getting tough!

    Moon,
Yup yup, they will cut into your sleep for sure but let me tell you first hand it's so worth it. They start sleeping around month 4 so look forward to that. It's dedication to be a new father and a CRHer, toting around babies and boxes of halves, I love it. Tell them you are starting a coin collection for the little one and they will throw all sorts of stuff your way. Most tellers will anyway.

That's a tuff schedule and all that for $9.00 in silver. It makes you think sometimes is it all worth it....yup.

Then you think 9 times 260 is 2340. So if you roll-search five days a week, and average that, you'll have a nice pile.

Agreed, totally worth it. I like the spin you put on it Merc.

It can be a grind, but this hobby rewards dedication more so than any other hobby I've ever engaged in.

Got my two boxes of halves today. Skunked on the first box. Also got $70 loose from another bank. Scored 1 68'. Might take the other box of halves to work with me tonight and go through them. Hopefully not a skunk too.

Picked up a box of dimes on lunch. The Godiva cookies I dropped on them must have distracted the teller becasue she shorted me $247 on a deposit I made (not CRH related). I called the bank and they knew exactly who I was and fixed the problem over the phone and were super apologetic.

Went to pick up my 2 boxes of halves on Friday, but they said they hadn't ordered them again. 2nd time in 3 weeks, ugh. Went to dump a box of nickels i had gotten as well as $100 in dimes and $50 in halves. After the machine had finished counting the coins, it made a noise saying that it needed to be serviced. They opened it up and there were all these coins that had somehow fell through and were not counted, which was weird because it had counted all of mine right. The teller asked me what I had turned in because maybe some of them were mine, (like someones post a few posts ago) I said I turned in a mix of coins, so she handed them all to me. There was about 3.50 in mixed coins including a Spanish coin that is smaller than a dime and is made of aluminum or something, its crazy light, and a 1937 S quarter (also from a post a few posts ago), my first silver quarter from circulation. I also picked up a box of nickels and there were 31 pre-60, 1 2009, 1 canadian, and 1 '43 S. Hopefully this Friday they get my boxes of halves in.

    10 rolls of nickels. 1 V (1887), maybe FR.

What is with all of the V nickels showing up lately. I don't recall ever reading about someone finding one, but in the last 6 months, there has been a bunch.

Congrats. That is WAY cool to find a coin in circulation that is over 120 years old.

I found five in about 110 boxes prior to my big find.
