Sorry - I meant FOUR boxes.

Oh yeah - I forgot to mention, I was looking at these rolls with my 6-year-old son. I know about the edges, but I wanted him to actually check the dates so I didn't want him to catch me 'cheating.' ;)

Huh, in typical me fashion, I managed to lose both of the silver dimes I found earlier. WTH...

SMH......i wish i would have known that a month ago when i first started roll searching. took me 3 boxes of dimes and a box of halves to figure it out. the way i was doing it was how i uncovered it, unwrapping the whole roll in my hand and then you see the milky white edge (best feeling). So happy i figured out early as my eyes would hurt after looking at all the dates on those things, especially if they were corroded!

I hear ya ThinnPikkins, I just don't trust myself. I'd end up overlooking 50% of the silver coins.

    $540 in Dimes & a box ($500) of halves.

    Absolute Skunk :(

Then, to add insult to injury, TD bank "lost" $40 of my dimes!:so-sad:I did ask them for a recount when they send the bags in, but what are the chances on that working?

But, there was also 2 silver dimes, 1 quarter & a '67 half (out of 12.50) from the teller tray.

    Still, not a great day.

Congrats on the new addition. You'll have a blast! I found that when I bring my little girl along they treat me like a king, all the coin they can spare and free cookies and whatnot.

If you can, ask whoever changed the halves bags for you look at the cents bags. Most often you'll find your $40 worth of dimes were counted as cents.

Thanks. Once he gets older I'll be carting him around with me to the banks!

Last night, box of dimes: 4 roosies
This AM, box of dimes: 1 roosie

Picked up a $170 in CWR halves and $5.00 loose halves from a very friendly teller. She was super happy to get rid of them, too bad they were all skunks. The guy who tuned them in made her roll them all too while he waited, what a bum.
Picked up a box of dimes while I was there, will get to those tonight.
