    I had seen that but to be honest - I didn't feel like dealing with ebay because of the bad experiences too many have been posting about lately. I have to admit - I just got 70 of them the other day and a large # of them were at least AU.

    I had a chance to buy some other coins I wanted and needed to funds asap - cashing in the IKEs flew under the radar alot more than hitting the bank to take the 500 bucks

    Well that box of H's may have started with a bang, but it ended with a wimper:

    1 more 40% out of the last 35 rolls. :(

    On the upside, I ordered a box from another BoA today; we'll see how that one is next week.

    Out of 10 boxes of halves pulled just 4 40%ers....box after box after box of marked coins:rollling::rollling:

    Two boxes of nickels;

    First box gave up three war nicks and this
    [IMG]

    No mintmark, sadly.

    Second gave up one war nick (XF, nice shape) and a Buff ('36, probably VF), as well as an '88-S.

    2 Roosies & a merc from a box, plus the teller @dump bank had 5 BUffalo nickels, 3 dateless, 2 partial dates.

    I'm evacuated at this point (at a relative), so for now, I'm out of the game.

    I hoard the ikes, especially since I found a bank that orders them for me along with the boxes of halves. I love it. My first 500 had quite a bit of 72's in them but they were in great condition not to mention had some awesome toning. I still am having a hard time capturing a picture that shows the toning as i see it, oh well one say Ill figure it out. I should be getting another 500 of ikes on tuesday and 1000 of halves on the same day :)> I figure the worse case senario if copper goes through the roof then I can melt the ikes lol

    Barber? Wow, I've never found a Barber and I've been through tens of thousands of dollars in dimes. Congrats on the haircut, and I wanna see a pic.

    I went downstairs to the kitchen for a drink and I took a look at my dad's change pile. I noticed one of the dimes was a '63 Roosevelt, so I switched it out with one of my clad dimes. This isn't the first time that pile has yielded silver; several months ago, I found a 1942-P War Nickel and a 1958-D Roosevelt in there on two separate occasions. My dad must be lucky, I guess.

    Ok so my wife was searching with me and came across it, she said "whats this" because it is so corroded but I knew immediately even though I own none, the back is very distinctive....incoming (not a looker believe me)...what I think happened is someone just overlooked it.....sorry for photos, they are from my phone.

    Well compared to what I have read on this thread, I dont think im doing as good as some but then again I guess its all the lick of the draw....i did not even own a barber dime til today but the one pictured above I would have gladly taken a merc or roosie in condition worth looking at. It took me awhile to decipher that date. Like I said I think it just didnt look good enoigh for someone to strain their eyes on it. Luckily my wife picked it up and got curious. Thanks guys, im going to try and keep up the trend bit I have a feeling it wont continue. Only one box of dimes skunked me.

    P.s. The first words oit of my mouth were "thats a barber dime!" Second sentence told her she found the oldest coin will ever find in a roll!
