I'm doing 4-5 boxes a week right now, and have been for about a month and still no more than 1. In fact at least 65-70% ar skunks. Not sure what's up right now. Eventually, one will break the right way.

I did see your post about the bag. That would drive me bonkers if I couldn't get it!

It's TD policy. I even offered to slip the manager $100 if he'd let me swap 'em. Said there was no way, no how he could do it.

Is it just me, or are there are LOT of 1995-1996 halves that seem to be very new looking? Almost as many of these in 2 boxes as bicentennials.

    2 boxes - 2 40% & 8 NIFC

Box of nickels; third roll had a '43-S, nothing the rest of the way besides a few BU's.

So i saw you guys talking about nickels and such. So seeing that i decided id go get some and see what happens. I got $100 worth and i found the following.

    3 war nickels, 2 1943 and 1 1944

    and a few others
    1939-4
    1940-3
    1941-1
    1946-2
    1947-2
    1948-1

    and a handful of 50s

Im pretty sure ill be getting more nickels to go through. :D

Nickels are really the best. I'm on a streak of no buffalo's or V's lately though... argh!

I like Nickels too, but they take me too long to go thru.

Practice... It's all about identifying strike characteristics.

i'm pretty new to this but i've been through 2 boxes of dimes and i'm averaging 2 silvers per box...does that seem to be the average?

My average is less. About 1.5. All depends on your area though.

Box of dimes, all 2011. Need to dump it somewhere that will take rolls.

Also picked up from tellers tray out of about 40$ in halves a 1969 & a 1991D that looks like a proof planchet (Reeded thick like a proof, and looks like a mirror, easy PL, maybe DMPL).

As an additional note, that puts me at 368  dimes for the year. So in August, I have hit my goal of an average of one dime per day. :D
