Pretty cool, the link did not work but it suggested another link to click on and that worked. 3 dimes for $9.95, not bad seeing it includes a Barber and a Merc.

I would think out of that many Ikes you might find a 40% silver....too bad.

That's pretty ruff only finding 3 x 40% out of those 3 plus boxes of halves, certainly better than a skunk for sure. Hopefully your dump bank coin machine takes more than $100 in halves at a time before it needs to be changed.

Seems people have been finding Quarters lately...I have not been that lucky. I'm going to give it another go tomorrow at some different banks to see how they treat me.

$400 in quarters and $100 in nickels today - yielded one 1920 buffalo nickel. It's very cruddy, but it helped ease the pain of the skunky rest of the lot lol.

Went to the bank, got a box of dimes, it was solid 2011. Looked at the teller, asked her if she could grab me a different one since the Brinks delivery guy was right behind them. She obliged.

Pulled 1 silver out of that box, in the 5th to last roll... '40-S Merc.

Yeah, that link doesn't work. You want littletoncoins.com/specials .
But, you have to buy that type folder. I know its free shipping, but it still seems like a big premium. Right now those coins are worth $8.30 melt.
I'd say you're better off going this route: http://www.providentmetals.com/1-face-value-90-silver-us-coins.html

Another box of halves today - Skunk! Boxes of halves have been rough the past 6 weeks. I have not pulled more than 2 Silvers out of any one box, and I've been getting one box with Silver for about every 4 I search. This is the 4th box this week and only one box produced silver. Getting a bit frustrated.

On a better note...found a 1958 Silver Dime and 1945 Nickel in the reject tray at TD Bank when cashing in my halves from yesterday.

Will be getting 2 more boxes of halves tomorrow and 2 more on Friday.

I see now that I left the ".com" off the link, but it was working in my browser due to history function. I corrected the link in the original post. The folder is optional, so you could get the three dimes for $9.95, plus a free set of 2009 Lincoln Cents (Whoopie!).

I like the Provident offer, and given today's silver move, that should be below spot tomorrow...

Ok, so here's something interesting. In the Detroit area, we get a ton of Canadian in boxes. And sometimes the coin counters at the bank will pass through a few of them, but I end up with a lot. And I don't want to drive to Windsor to cash it in, and "laundering" it into making purchases will take for ever. So I just took everything in my jar and ebayed it. Figured I'd lose a little money, but it's the easiest route.
Well, $6.83 in face of circulated Canadian is now up to $15.50! I know he copper cents and older nickels are worth more than face for melt, but still, that's nuts. Did I misrepresent this listing? Why does this have this much interest?

Very nice! Doesn't look like misrepresentation to me.

I probably have about $50-$60 in Canadian face that I planned on ebaying. Actually it's probably twice that amount due to all the loonies and toonies. I just need to get around to counting it. Good to know it will probably sell. I'll post a link when I list it.

I just give it to a friend who gives me face US for it. He goes to Canada quite often, and just deposits it into his canadian account.

Maybe I should start holding onto it for myself?
