Newbie here, very inspired. I went to a 5th 3rd bank, got 11 rolls of halfs, allegedly given by "Brinks". The wrappers were white with "$10 Halves" on it in a gold color. Anyway, SKUNK! Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

Oh, and for any other newbies, brink a bag with you to carry them out with, they are heavy!

 

Box of dimes, 1 '62.

Probably gonna get another later... also got another box of cents.

 

I stopped at a couple of banks today and found $134 of halves......skunk.

 

Another box of dimes, '61 and '61-D.

 

6 rolls of cents, 1 1955 (no double die)

 

i got the drivers license, but now i gotta wait for insurance then i get to search some pennies

 

2.50 in Loose Halves netted 1 40%er

Still have nothing, went thru another 15 rolls of halves, but I did find a very shiny bicentennial, w/ an "S" at the bottom, anything to keep?

 

$440 in CWR halves found 1 1987-P and a 2005-D with nice toning, no silver
4 boxes in dimes found 4 1964 dimes one in one box, three in another two being skunks.

 

Sounds like a proof, I'd keep that.

It's pretty obvious, by looking at the rim, when you've got silver... I don't think this fellow missed that, did he?

 

If in doubt weigh it. Silver will be more than CuNi.

 

Remember: I just started this today :| ...also, the side doesn't appear to be silver, could it still be if that isn't "obvious" ?

 

stopped at 5 banks and only 20$ in halves and got no keepers.. is there good finds out there? and why don't people get quarter rolls?

 

Probably is just a clad proof. Still not a bad find.

 

Picked up $30 more worth of halves today, and pulled 2 more 40%. The hot bank is out of them now, I will try another town. But can't complain, 7 out of $60 is not bad in my book, I'd take only one!
