That's doin' pretty in my book, merc. How are all you guys and gals keeping your cents. I've a album of LMC's of BU''s, all in 2x2's. Seventy percent of them bought. Then six or seven LMC Whitman folders, four Wheat cent Whitmans, some missing the 20's and 1931-S. Then white squares poly tubes starting from 1960 thru 2009 L1 -- L4. All by searching rolls. Along with the rest of the silver coins I am almost out of space.

I went through 60 dollars worth of Halvs today, and it produced better results than I have had previously. out of 6 $10 rolls, I managed to pick out 5 40% Silver coins. I would love to go grab the last $40 of them from the bank, but my clutch just broke! Hopefully nobody else snatches them up.

I have been doing some roll searching for halves lately and have found a lot of proofs. Are there any silver content in them or are they just more collectable because they are proof. The most recent ones are a 77 and two 78's. Sorry from the dumb question but I have not been able to find anywere if there is silver in them. Thanks

Only ones with silver are obviously silver, look just like the older ones on the rim. Not sure on the years they've been minted, I bet one of our compatriots will know.

I forgot, that dime box earlier? That was only half the box. Finished with 7 in the box. :D

Well, I prefer 2x2's and 3 ring binder pages to albums and whatnot, so I use those. I have two sets of wheats, my circulation finds set, and my set full of ones I've purchased and whatnot.

Loose wheats are bagged in ~1k quantities sorted by decade, loose coppers are stored in bags of ~$50 face value. BU's, I store in 2x2's if they're nice enough... otherwise, rolls. I do keep a set of BU's from 59-Present, but I'm really picky so that's still a work in progress. I figure when you go through $150 a week, minimum, you can afford to be really picky.

I love it! If the tellers are going to cherry pick then they shouldn't keep em out in the open!

Thirteen dollars in loosed halves netted two 40%ers.

Been hitting the dimes hard lately. My area has been doing pretty good on dimes. I've been averaging between three and five per box.

I was averaging that for a while too, then things just dropped off a cliff. Given the box I got today, I'm gonna officially de-ice dimes... gonna try to do 3-5 boxes a week, minimum, now.

Thats awsome, I tried $100 in dimes a week ago and didn't produce a single one. The Halves are 1964 and before are 90% and 1965 - 1970 are 40% silver, I do not know if
the actual 1970 is or not.

'70's are silver, yes, 40%... they're NIFC, though, and really rare to find in the wild.

I'm up to a box a day now. The box I got today was a Fed wrapped shotgun roll. Complete pain to get through this one since I have to re-wrap each roll.

OK!! Normal four boxes of halves per week and here we go...

    BOX 1: 5 40%
    BOX 2: 5 40%
    BOX 3: AWESOME!!! ONE '43 WALKER AND 11 40%
    BOX 4: 3 40%

This so much beats all the skunks I've gotten lately!! I'm out of platic rolls, but got tips from Merc!!

    Time to order another 100

Did 2 boxes last week and both were skunks, hoping my regular shipment is better 2morow. I was just wondering I notice rolls of 40% half dollars going on ebay for like $110, after ebay and paypal take there cut how much do get? And if you sold it to a reputable dealer how much would u get? Appreciate if anyone could let me know

According to this calculator, you'd get around $96 after eBay and PayPal fees.
