IHC's? I've found two... I must be up to near 80-100 boxes by now.

I got a few different rolls at the bank today: 4 rolls of halves, some quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies. Plus, she had 12 halves in change, so I got those too. Nothing in the rolls but the very last coin from the loose change was a 67. WOOT!

Not much in the dimes except this freaky deaky dime that didn't have a last number. I guess it's a year 200 dime! Pretty cool, so I'm keeping that.

And in the pennies, there were a bunch of really cool rainbow colored pennies. It got to the point that I wasn't really checking dates so much as being wowed by the colors. So I'll be keeping a lot of those too, but nothing really old. I think 67 was the oldest.

Overall, I'm happy with my pickings today.

It was finally my turn to find a mini jackpot. I usually only buy a roll or so per week, only what I can spend. The other day I happened to be in another town I so I stopped at the lone bank. They had 5 rolls so I splurged and bought them all. 13 40%ers and one '64.:D

I also found an '01S half the other day too. Posted a pic a few pages back. Wasn't silver, but still excited about the find.

The dimes I bought came today ! Not much other than just circulated Mercs. 3 upgraded coins in my book and there were 2-1928 Ds. One of the 45 S is smaller than normal but larger than the micro S comparison coin I have. This appears to be 3 different sizes of S mint marks for 1945 ?

I have done about 1600 lbs. of copper pennies(31% rate) and have pulled (4)IHP. I have also hit roughly 2100 wheat pennies since the middle of Jan. 80% of the pennies have been from $50.00 bags,

I have also hit over $10.00 in change(Mostly dimes) in the penny bags.

How many cents are you going through on a daily basis, dude? You have a Ryedale or something?

$30 in halves had 3 nifc's. Stopped by a smaller "out of the way" bank today and asked for halves. They only had two but she told me that a lady had come in about a week ago to get a bunch of wrappers to roll coin. Will have to check back soon and see if she brings them in. Maybe it will be grandpa's stash.

I sort mine by date & mint. Put them in tubes and reuse the bank boxes for stroage. At a copper value of almost 3x face, it seems foolish to turn them back in. IMHO

Gary, are you holding them long-term? I know the copper value is 0.03, but how are you intending to sell them? You have hand sorted around 240,000 pennies for date and mint? Have you gotten anything rare in that many pennies, or are you not really searching for some of the errors?
