    Gotta break the streak!

I only got the 1 40%er out of my box, at least I broke my skunk streak. I was hopping to start a new streak of boxes in a row with a find but, my next box was a skunk.

Got a Grand Canyon quarter (first one) (plus some other 2010's) out of 80$.

Yeah, I finally found a Mt. Hood yesterday. Beautiful coin.

The Mt. Hood is far and away my favorite design from last year. Never thought I'd say it after seeing the Hot Springs one, but I am thoroughly pleased with the designs so far.

I agree, I think the state park quarters feature many excellent reverses... I wouldn't necessarily be against them using a couple of these as permanent reverses on coins... or at least having the artist who rendered them take care of some other coinage of ours.

Went through one box of nickels and found 27 pre-1961 Jeffersons, 4 Canadians, and one dateless Buffalo. I had some Nic-a-Date on hand, so I applied it to the date area to reveal 1918. Interestingly, the three acid-treated Buffalos I own are consecutive: 1917, 1918, and 1919.

Got my first bag of halves waiting to get home to check them. I have no idea what to expect but there's no silver visible with the bag closed.

Had $25 in my pocket and was near a bank, so I swung in and grabbed 7 rolls of nickles, 2 rolls of dimes, and 2 rolls of pennies.

Found 1 war nickel, a 1939 nickel, a 1941 nickel, a 1955 nickel (semi-key date, 8m minted), and a dime in one of the penny rolls.

2 boxes and only 2 40%-ers. I suppose its better than skunking out

    $150 in dimes; 1957.

Did another box of cents...I love how one TD gave me a problem, but I can walk into any other in the same area and walk out with boxes of change.

Found 13 wheats, oldest was a 1916! Lots of 59's and 59 D's like 10 or 20 of them...kind of thought it was weird because I haven't seen them that frequently. Got about another $5.00 worth of copper. 15 or so 2009s (is anyone still saving them??) and only 4 Canadians...

Found 2 more rooos from a box of dimes one of which filled a hole in my book. Only need 13/50 all have been pulled from boxes and some great toners too.

Yeah, I thought that was a dick-ish thing to say.

$20 in cents. Huge amount of copper, something like 40%... sweet. Also pulled 15 wheats (including my second 1909 VDB roll find), which is quite a few for me, along with 8 Canadians, including an Edward ('53, IIRC) cent. I think the WAM run is over. :(

I thought 1953 was the first year of Elizabeth's coinage. Canadian coins haven't had an Edward on them since 1910.
