That's pretty cool. Here in Vegas, everyone must pull the Silver or something.

Finished with my box of nickels:

    2 1939 (not the "D" though)
    7 from the 1940s including 2 silver war nickels :) :D :)
    12 from the 1950s
a 2010 D to fill a Hole in the Dansco

Not bad at all, and a nice change from the half searching.

    :)

Nice Bob! My last 3 or 4 boxes of nickels have been silver skunks. You done any dimes lately?

I grab dimes whenever I dump cents and that's been a colossal waste of time. I only need a 96 W and don't have high hopes of finding that one in a roll. And as I been saying, Silver has been very elusive here. I have only found 1 silver dime and that was in a roll of CWR cents. Go figure ?

2 boxes of nickels: 2-wars, box of dimes: 1-'64, 2 boxes of halves (one was a skunk, first in my last 11 boxes) the other gave up 10-40%. 2 more halves tomorrow and then time to dump.

Anybody on here hunt middle eastern Oklahoma? I'll be there next week and may try my luck at a couple banks.

Got a box of cents from the bank a few weeks ago,, all hand rolled inside... I've gone through half so far (2,500), and have pulled a full roll wheatie's so far,, 1919, 1920,... all the way to 58,, nice variety... looks like someone cashed in thier old cent collection... no early date mint marks,, maybe thier all on the bottom of the box.... good times ; )

I had good luck with the las $100 worth of CWRs I got. Even found an IHC and a couple of dimes along with some 1919-1935 cleaned coins with paper stuck on the reverses like they came from a folder or display. Times are getting tough for sure.

    Weekly results so far;

    $6000 halves - 37 40%'s, 2 walkers, 2 1964's.
    $300 nickels - 41 buffalos, 5 silvers.
    $500 dimes - 1 Merc, 3 Roosies.

I'm starting to get addicted to this.

Things up here in Michigan are tough....as in most places I assume.

Whenever I go out to Dinner I have fun "teaching" servers about star notes & such. And we get new comers' to our hobby.
NO PROBLEM getting to buy a roll from the register!
Have found MANY MERC's in the dime catagory!
    Try it- it's fun!

I think people are dipping into saved coins and they are getting circulated. The Servers enjoy sharing how many Star/Step's they find.

Yeah, two boxes from one bank yielded 30 of 'em, haha. All dates, too! I'd say the worst was in VG.

Today another box from that bank yielded only two buffalos, a 1936 and a dateless 1913-D type one. :D Oldest Buff I own by 5 years, and oldest nickel I've found by a decade.

Just got done searching a box of cents:

    8 Wheaties- none i needed
1920 Canadian- filled a hole with that
    3 other Canadians
    1 2010-D- filled a hole with that

I can't seem to find a 1972-S, it is the only memorial i need and it's been driving me crazy!

I'm going to the bank tomorrow to get 2 more boxes of cents and a box of nickels. I'm also going to get about $25 worth of quarters from a car wash change machine.

2 boxes of halves netted 8 40%ers and 2 64's. Box of dimes well I thought I had 2 silver dimes but turned out to be a canadian and a dime from some south american country.
