Definitely didn't need to have an account, but I got my second box of dimes for today, and found 1 more silver a 1963 making my total 2 for the day. I don't think I have had a bad dime box yet. The worst was all 2010 Ps only because there was no silver...it was still quite profitable.

 

I'm half-way through a new box of Pennies and so far two wheats.. Karma is collecting the debt from the last box.

But I did find this 1978 that looks like it has no copper in it.. it's sliverish.

 

Went to turn in some loose change from previous and the bank had 9 rolls of halves. I got:
1964
1968, 1969
1999S
I gave my dad a 1980P that looked brand new too. Not too bad for 9 rolls

 

hmm interesting have you tried weighing it?

Coins from old people in a rest home ? Someone taking advantage of them I wonder ?

 

Went to the bank today and found 5 2009 Pennies, a 1945 wheat penny also got 2 boxes of nickels and found from box #1

1 1944P only silver nickel in the box

1 1956D
1 1946P
1 1947P
finally also found in the tellers change holder a 2009 Canadian Quarter with a skier on the back and it says Vancouver looked on ebay its worth at least a buck.

That silver colored 1978 Lincoln Memorial Cent looks cool. Do you have the means to properly weigh it ?
It makes me think about those 1974 aluminum cents that the secret service will seize when found in circulation

Searched a box of Nickels this past weekend, first time I've been shutout on Silver War Nickels. Oh well, I ended up filling 2 slots in my book though. I'm almost done with my Nickel Whitman folder, but I've decided to just search Dimes and maybe Pennies every now and then.

 

Prospector: WOW, what great cent finds. I have never found an IHC, and you found 3 in one box? incredible.

I've been out of town for several days, so today was my first box of halves in nearly a week. I found 2 40%ers.

Ho hum.

 

No No, those three indian heads were found in a roll I bought off of eBay.

 

Went thru my other box of nickels found about 10 pre 1960 no silver though but I did find a 1940S so it was a complete shutout box going back to the banks today and trade some boxes for unopened boxes.

 

Here's one of the '43 Steel Cents I found in the roll I purchased off of eBay Labeled " Onodaga Sanitorium".

It is actually flawless as far as dents go.

 

1 63 out of 70$ in dimes.

 

Definitely like having more than 1 TD in the same area, means I can dump at one and run to the other to get a new box!
