That is not unusual for smaller financial institutions. My place sends in my order for cent boxes when they place their own weekly order. It helps to order 2 or more cent boxes at 1 time.

Nice finds kipper....good to see your luck turn.

    Halve Box 1: 0
    Halve Box 2: 1-90%, 2-40%

So, out of 10 boxes this week, 3-90% & 13-40% or 1.6 silvers per box.

Box of nickels: 1943-D silver war
Box of dimes: 1949-S, 1959-D, & 1964-D (this was the first time I've ever found silver in dime boxes)

Went to the bank today and checked the half dollars the teller had $3 and found a 1964 Kennedy and then got a box of nickels and found 1 1945P, 1953S, 1 1952P, 1 1948P, and about between the 1957D and 1958D and 1959D a total from just those dates with mintmarks about 40 all circulated though so I didnt keep them.

Got $110 in Hot Springs quarters, think a dealer would buy them for a premium?

If I could get a premium on 2010 P dimes from a dealer, then you DEFINITELY can get a premium on hot springs quarters, unless they already have plenty of them?

Looked through 10 rolls of Brinks' rolled nickels last night. One war nix - 1945-s, 7 pre-1960 and one 99% zinc Canadian.

I don't know why, but I keep all pre-1960 nickels. Anyone else do the same?

I do but I just found out they are worth nothing to dealers except the S Minted ones if you put Pre 1960 nickels on ebay I think there is a value .

Also the rare ones are worth holding on to like the 39D, 38D, 39S, 38S, 50D, 51S, 42D seems like it could be a rare one.

Why can't they wrap the half dollars in clear plastic like they do for the rest???? Man that would make it sooooo much easier!!!!!

My guess would be that the half dollar rolls would be too short compared to other coinage & they would be very difficult to bend in half to release the coins.
