Although I know the Whitman books are not complete with the number of varieties out there , I would get myself the "Cherrypicker's Guide Volume 2" if you do not already have it. Also keep your eyes peeled for "S" silver proof quarters dated from 1992-present because they are 90% silver just like the pre-1965 coinage.

82 cents worth of silver in that there 6 Pence. If it was a proof coin it would be worth over $600.00.

I had a pretty profitable day. Did a box of dimes, found a '56 that looks like it has never been touched, a '64, a half tube of 2010 Ps, a 2009 P plus a 2009 P that I got in change, a dime from canada, and a dime from bermuda! Not bad. Kind of want to get another dime box for tomorrow:)

Just ordered my first box. It's going to be cents and should be in next week.

Wow, they are making you wait a week for cents?

I'm getting it through my credit union & it's going to be added in with their normal shipment. It seems they don't keep a lot of extra change on hand. I asked for a couple rolls of cents & nickels a few weeks ago and they had to scramble to find it. They obviously don't get a lot of requests like that at my branch.

That makes a little more sense, I was going to say, maybe you should try a different bank if it takes them so long to get cents, right? Maybe wachovia has spoiled me.

    I started a great box of halves last night. $200 yielded 1-walker '44, 3-frankies '52,'62,'63, 2-kennedy's 90% and 8 - kennedy's 40%. Considering my first eight boxes yielded 1-40% and 6-40% combined I am very pleased.

Too hard with dimes. Halves, that wouldn't be a problem.

Not only would half of the dimes end up on the floor in your car, you may also lose a silver one!
