SLAMSTER: Nice! If you don't end up selling them or can't make any sales worth your while, you could offer them here in OPEN or Classified listings or even throw a contest to given a few away.

Yea definitely Krispy, sure beats buying them from the mint! No shipping, and no premium.

I found a 1962 quarter in the register at work today. Maybe a week or two ago I found a 1964 half dollar in a $1.50 in halves.

my usual 5 dollars worth of cents, one wheatie, a 1951-s, 7 bright red ms 1960 cents, no canadians, nine 2009 cents, two lp2-p. seven lp3-p, I have about 5 rolls so far of the 2009's, and about total 40 of the d mint 2009 cents. Usually with quarters around here we get more d mints, but with cents it seems we get more p mints. I have seen more of the lp2 and lp3 than the lp1 a

    We'll get used to it.

I've got $1k in halves waiting for me at my "good" bank... no time to pick 'em up until Thursday, though. It's gonna kill me.

About this new format. I don't like it. On my screen at least, all the text appears in one l-o-n-g skinny vertical column. Hard to read. Does it appear this way to everyone?

Went through a bank wrapped box on Friday, every coin had a red or black marker by Kennedy's neck.

Looks like I'm hitting someone's turf. Anyone here?

    hamman88 Spare some change, sir?

Yes, your defiantly hitting someones turf. If you see something you want, but the mark is there, just use some solvent to get rid of it.

I consider marking coins to be vandalism and marking of coins by roll searchers TREASON!

went through a box of pennies this weekend(my first box ever!), and a couple rolls of halves.

Nothing from the half rolls except a couple 2001d in ms state

Came away with 6 wheaties, the oldest being a 40s. Ive only had time to go through about 500 or so cents for varieties, havent found anything yet though.

How do many of you search your cents? Do you check each coin for varieties, or do you only pull coins from certain years and/or in good shape, and check those? Basically, should i be taking the time searching 2001+ year pennies, and the common date pennies pre-82 for varieties? i usually just glance at these obverse/reverse for off-centering or lamintation errors, before tossing back into the bank box, and really only check the dates that have known major errors(like WAM's, and DDO's, ect)

I only pull wheaties, canadians, and coppers. Cash in the zinc.

I went cycling through the change at the vending machine in the hotel I was at a couple days ago. I saw the obverse of an old, beat up dime. I started getting all excited when I flipped it over and saw the year was 196...5. This also happened with a few 67's, a 66, and a 70. I know there's not a lot of silver left in circulation, but it still hurts to build up that anticipation for nothing. Add in that I saw a 1964 Roosie in the (locked) charity box at a Burger King I stopped at, and sometimes it just ssems like to coin gods have it in for you.

i saw a silver quarter in one of those locked change disbursement boxes while waiting for my order at a quiznoes a couple months ago. Unfortunately, the cashier refused to give me a large amount of change, or open it so i could buy it. I told myself it was a 32d, and was a little mad about it lol. On the upside though, the sandwich was exceptionally good ^^
