Roll-searchers, post your results!

I have been going thru 50- 100 rolls of pennies a week. Last week I found a 1905 IHC. Not in good condition but still a very nice surprise.

searched a box of nickels tonight. Got 13 pre-60 nicks and that was it. Nothing special

 

1 43S, nothing to fill the album out of 18$ in nickels

 

1 door closes , another 1 opens , be ready for the new opportunities.

 

Halves...

Was on the road for work. As I walked out of Arby's (I have a refined palate) I noted a bank across the parking lot.

I went in and got 3 bucks in loose halves and a roll from the vault. Got two 40% from the loose stuff and two more from the roll! That's about 11.50 in silver...not bad. Paid for lunch, anyway.

This is after I searched two Brinks' boxes last weekend and got skunked.

Keep plugging away...it pays off. I'm still waiting for that dusty roll from a small town vault that is all silver......sigh.

 

Got a roll of halfs from the bank today, yielded 3 40% and also found a Gold Plated SBA in the teller tray! (in mint condition)

 

Searched $190 in CWRs today when I got home. Ended up with 1-90% and 5-40%

 

Went to my favorite in-store branch today and got 4 40% in $9.50 worth, excited as this was the first silver halves i have found in months as well as the first silver to get loose, also got 20.50 in pennies to search through, will post anything good and the teller saved me 5 Ikes!

 

Went through 25 roll of nickles today. ZIP

 

Box of halves. shutout.

 

Went thru $50 in cents. Most interested in pulling the pre-82 stuff, but also wheaties. About 25-30% were pre-1982. Also got 9 wheaties. Common dates G to VG.

 

I searched 4 boxes yesterday first three yielded squat. Last one I found a 2009 a 2002 and 1 1967 %40er hopefully better luck on my two boxes I will get later today

I found this one this morning in some that came in mail along with a few other keepers including a 1924 S in Great Shape.

 

Picked up 2 silver halves today on my way home

 

just went to the bank and got:

1 roll of dollars
4 rolls of halves
10 rolls of quarters
10 rolls of dimes
10 rolls of nickels
10 rolles of pennies

($240.00)

ill let you know what comes up, but i dont really have high hopes. not even sure what to be looking for to be honest

Look at the crack in the die directly west of the top of the Memorial.

 

My comment wasn't about your post but I did see that die crack in yours.

interesting, I'm sure the experts will call that a Machine Doubling but the die crack is interesting, I'd keep it and stash it in a flip.

 

That almost looks like a lamination error on that cent, but can't tell in the pic.

2 boxes of halves
Box 1: 1982 "no FG", 2 40%ers and one 1964.
Box 2: 2 40%ers.

I'll take those over shutouts any day!!!
