investment and time. But what is understated here is that the reward is in the process. Finding stuff is a bonus. Always hoping folks gain the benefit of both but hopefully accepting that the process (the hunt) brings the greatest rewards.

It's also like going to the local gigantic Sunday flea market near me.

It's a treasure hunt, costs $3 to enter and...what else am I going to do on a Sunday morning? Even if I don't buy much...it's the entertainment value that's definitely worth $3. My oldest son likes it too, so it's nice for the two of us to go together...he's about to turn 18, so adult time together is precious right now.
