Have to check variety vista. Out of 5 rolls of nickels. I got 39 total 1940 and 1946 nickels. I don’t know of any special ones

I finally bit the bullet and opened these 3 rolls. There were some really nice coins from the late 70s... the youngest coin in the bunch was 1979.
There were 10 pre '59s, for datas sake.
    I included a picture of one of the nice 70s coins :) 20230518_170341.jpg 20230518_170424.jpg 20230518_170433.jpg

Has anyone ever looked through a box of small dollars? Considering it to pull out American innovations, Sacs. with the different backings? Not sure if it will be worth it.

Haven't done much CRH in the past few months. Yesterday at the bank to get some cash to buy things here and there, and asked for 5 rolls of quarters (they are easy enough to search and easy enough to get rid of at gas stations, etc).

Surprise, surprise, one of the rolls had a 1955-D in it! Still very beautiful with little wear; probably an AU55 at first estimate, maybe could be an AU58.

My first coin roll hunt in years and I got some fun stuff! Two wheaties, four canadian cents, a 50 Øre Harald V coin (Norway), and my first 1982 small date! :D

I found this Lincoln Cent today with a most convenient date: A self-pricing coin. ;) What an innovation! :joyful:
