Meow goes through several thousands in quarters just to find one.

Meow cannot make this Cat spend nice BU coin rolls. So it is a blessing and a curse to find them. Nice to keep but really puts a dent in the CRH fund. In the past few months Meow got BU rolls of Oklahoma states, Alaska States, Missouri ATB, and Memorial Park ATBs, That went straight into the Cat Hoard. About $650 Meow will never get to spend.

Slightly MAD but not really enough to be a keeper IMO.

Needs to look like this in order to be worth keeping:

No problem, Meow is happy to be patiently awaiting BU rolls. Would you like Meow to send you some funds?

I came across a 1926 nickel from a bank roll yesterday; I THINK; which brings me to this: Is there some trick you experienced collectors know with 1926 vs 1928 buffalo nickels when that 4th digit has been eroded on the right side? I have 5 - 6 of these that are very difficult to label. ....could be a 6, might be an 8.....

After over a year I finally got a decent score from CWR's. From two local banks I got 2 collection dumps totaling 56 silvers:

    28 90% Halves: 1 Walker ('41), 5 Franklin ('63D, '63, '62, '62, '50), 22 Kennedy (1964)

    28 40% Halves: 2-65, 6-66, 10-67. 7-68D. 3-69D

Better still, 4 rolls were "searched" in String and Son wrappers and they had lots of goodies. They are in the upper left.

Not Monster boxes by any stretch but still shows that Silver is out there!

    Check out the pics! 20201008_223435.jpg 20201008_223733.jpg 20201008_225621.jpg 20201008_230454.jpg

Meow has just found Meow's very first Texas W quarter. Now Meow has at least one of every 2019 West pointers. Meow has yet to find a single 2020 quarter in rolls or change yet where Meow lives. So Meow has no 2020 Ws yet. Hopefully that will happen soon. Also Meow found a proof 2003 Maine S mint. The Texas W is in circulated condition unfortunately, with the proof which is even more worn.

Meow has never found such legendary finds. The best Meow ever did was to find 5 silvers quarters in a CWR once a little over a year ago.

After going through $30 worth of pennys I found my first silver coin lots of cents from the 1960-1970's 50 Wheaties 20 of them came from a very old red devil roll. 20201014_161021.jpg 20201014_161028.jpg 20201014_161058.jpg

It's been over 7 months but I was finally able to pick up some cent/nickel boxes to search through. (An asterisk indicates a first find of a particular date/mint)

    Cent box #22: 5 wheats -- 25d*, 45, 45d, 55, and 55d. Ongoing keeper percentage 0.33% (1 out of every 6 rolls)

    Nickel box #31: 16 early Jeffs -- 40, 40d, 41 (x5), 41d, 41s, 45S*, 46, 46d, 46s, 47 (x2), 48d. Also found a 1975 Bahama 5-cent piece. Ongoing keeper percentage 0.52% (1 out of every 4.8 rolls). The 45S was the first silver I've found in quite a while.
