I've only found 2. I doubt I will find another one.

 

I personally only ever found one 72 type 2, and have yet to find all the varieties for the bicentennials.

 

Since I can't get anything new to search through for the foreseeable future, I am going to post some of past finds that I never posted. Here is a 2001-D experimental rinse I found awhile back.

I have not paid to have it verified, but the look and patina match the other examples I have seen online. The patina is also much different from the thousands of other coins I hunted through over the years.

 

From what I gather, there are no 2001D examples. I've seen environmentally toned/damaged coins that look like yours.
Not trying to be a buzzkill but I highly doubt it is one.

 

No worries. I may get it appraised at some point, to determine if it is or not. I'm not planning on selling it or anything, so it'll just sit there for the time being.

 

Found another 1972P DDO-003 in one of today's boxes

 

Well guess what? Banks are back up and running by me and they’re all coming through with my orders! Went through 3 boxes over the weekend and had these as the results...9 90%ers and 11 40%ers....but 18 of them came from one box!!

 

This evening, I got a box of pennies for the first time in quite a while. I don't have my phone on me, so I can't take pictures, but I found a 1912 Lincoln in decent shape.

 

Searched 6 boxes of halves today that have been in the garage since the end of Feb., no dump bank and thought I'd give them a little quarantine. No 90%ers but 18 40%ers and in the last box I saw a very shiny silver edge I thought would be a 90%er that turned out to be my first 1970. Probably my last hunt for quite a while but it was a fun one.

 

Looks like one that got peed on.

 

Got 20 rolls of quarters from the bank. Found a gold plated Minnesota state quarter a 1964 silver. A Ghana 20 something coin. And a Vatican City 1988 .50 lira, which I like a lot.

 

Does the Vatican one depict a threesome?

 

That is a depiction of God creating Eve from Adam's rib. Not the most obvious, but that is what it is supposed to be.

 

Oh, OK. Looked like a lot of fun stuff was happening there.

 

Gotta love 1970 halves. Very elusive for 40% and worth more than most 90%! I’ve only found a handful in the wild, but they are usually in MS condition.

 

Last load from the laundry room quarters. Only $100 total, but finally some 2019 coins, including this guy! My first 'W' coin.
