I haven't posted much lately because I haven't found much.
Last night's box though, had a 1998P WAM (my 70th something...I've lost count)
    And a 1972P DDO-003 (My 9th?)

You are in area plentlyful in WAM prey. Meow has only found 1 such penny. Just to find a P mint penny is not that easy. 90% off change where Meow lives are all D mints. P mints have much more errors, so Meow feels this Cat is missing out.

Thats why I like CRH here in Florida. We get a good mix of P and D coins. A good amount from the Caribbean nations too.

Happy Easter. Found more Canadian cents than wheat cents in today's box. 3 king Georges, 2 young heads and a bird cent. Best finds of the box were a 1960 d grease filled die missing the 6 and a 2015 ddo.

I got a customer wrapped roll of half dollars before all of this coronavirus and received 10 silver-clad half dollars mixed years!

    afm1982 Miami has the Dolphins...

Went through another batch of laundry quarters. (Building has a small laundry room. 2 washers, 2 dryers. Owner hasn't deposited the quarters for like 3 years. They are just sitting in boxes in his office. I have a counter/sorter machine, and a lot of time during quarantine. I think you see where this is going.)

This box had $310 in quarters. Only thing of interest was a Bahamian quarter. Meh!

Today I reduced my hoard of extra State, Territory, & ATB quarters I didn’t really need. I’ll be dumping about $300 when it’s safe to do so. Next on the list for hoard reduction - Nickels & Ike’s!

My only coin news given the lockdown is buying a few ASEs online :greedy:

On the bright side as a result of my extra free time I went fishing Saturday and did well!

I and my family enjoy eating pike. Folks who don’t understand how to effectively pick out the bones don’t like eating pike  After splitting the catch with my fishing buddy, 10 meals for my family is a good day!

I’ll keep cruising the internet looking for good prices on ASEs...

I started tackling my Dad’s Buffalo and early Jefferson collections. He died in 2016 (God rest his soul), and I have been gradually working through his coin collection, buying the coins from Mom as I go. It’s been an arduous task as he was a bigger hoarder than me, lol. He was a CRH at heart, constantly searching pocket change and buying rolls at the bank, and did this for most of his adult life. I pulled 22 Buffalos I needed for my Dansco album, most notably:
    24-S
    25-D
    25-S
    27-D
    28-D
    28-S
I had fun applying my very amateur grading skills to these worn & circulated Buffaloes, and using the PCGS price guide (albeit with a small discount) to arrive at what I hope is a fair price to pay Mom.

He also had the complete Whitman 1938-1961 Jefferson folder, and I was able to pull the following much needed nickels for my Dansco album:
    1938-D
    1939-D
    1939-S
    1942-D
    1944-D
    1950

This was a fun way to spend the day remembering Dad. :)

Hopefully Mom will be embarking on a whirlwind 3 week vacation in le Midi (The South of France), compliments of her son's coinage proceeds, as soon as the dust settles on the Coronavirus situation. Sounds like a great afternoon, TexAg. Hope you cooked her a dandy dinner tonight.

Lol! Mom plans to give her grandsons equal shares from the proceeds. I would cook her dinner if I lived closer! ;)

I will. The plan for now is to check the clad Ikes for varieties, unload the worn circulated ones, and keep the AU or better ones.
