Got 4 rolls of halves and 10 rolls of cents yesterday. 1-1965, 1-1968 that's it for the halves. The cent rolls produced 1-1944-D, 1-1956-D and 6-1970-S that I think one is a small date.

I found a COUPLE real nice 1954-d wheaties in rolls recently, here is one of them, [IMG]

I usually find one or two wheaties for each 5 dollars worth of rolls, these were both in the same roll, they may be only worth 50 cents, but that is 50 times face value

Tonight in three rolls of cent:
    1918
    1929-S
    1952-S
    1953-S
    1954-S
    TWO LP-4's

That's really good for me. All of them were VG except the LP-4's. They were MS-64.

    Pennies

Most of you all that search pennies seem to have better luck than me. I seldom have been finding more than about six wheats per box lately, and almost nothing pre-war.
Today I went through a box of customer rolled pennies.

    Four wheats - 44d, 53d, 57, 58d

    Two Cannucks - 80, 87

    One dime.

I guess technically, the dime was the best find :rolling:

    Dive, Silver, Dive!

Silver is down $2 1/2 in the last couple of days. Maybe if it goes back down in the single digits, silver will get easier to find... One can always hope.

    2 boxes of halves.

This first was a shut out.

    The second; 1-1944 liberty, 1-1963 Franklin, 3-1966's, and 3 1967's.

I went through eight rolls of dimes. Total yield one 1941 merc. YOu don't find them everyday.
I also bought a box of half dollars. I found 5 40% and a 64. Not a bad box. I also found a 2008 D and a 1983 gold plated in great condition and it had 1960 and 1980 stamped on each side of kennedy. What's up with the date stamped into the coin?

Tater....that is a very nice box.

I went through a box today and found
    2 2007
1 1996 s (filled a hole....I'm trying to get a complete set of impaired half proofs through circulation)
    1 64 :D
    1 66

I got another box and will open it later.

I found a 1987S Penny today My first Proof Penny ever I would say its worth like $1 or $1.50 with its condition in Proof 65 it would have been worth $5.

    Great box...congrats!

  21. I just did my first rolls of 2010. Six rolls of cents. Best luck I've had in a LONG time...

8 Canadians including a 1945, the first non-Elizabeth cent I've gotten in circulation, and the second in my collection.
    3 Wheats-
1956 not a big deal as I have a bunch already and the condition is not that great
1936 Better, but not the first I've found roll searching
1929! This is now the oldest coin I've gotten in a roll and the second oldest ever recieved in circulation (my mom got a 1919 at the grocery store in 2008)

6 from 1965 or older in the 60s. Don't think any of them are better condition then the examples I already have but I will check anyway, and keep them anyway
some from the 70s-2007 in spectacular condition, I think might end up replacing my current examples

4 2009 issues, all Philadelphia. Three were the log splitter and One was the new Capitol Dome Construction issue, the 4th and final issue, and the only one I didn't have in my collection from 2009 (now I need to find the D)

But...The BEST find roll searching for me EVER...a 2008 cent with rotated dies!! It's a very minor rotation...I would say two degrees at best...but it's clearly rotated! The condition could have been better but hey...beggars can't be choosers :) I'm just happy to have it.

Right now I'm absolutely sure that the 1945 Canadian, the 2009 Capitol and the rotated 2008 will be part of my permanent collection, there are most likely some upgrades too, I will know that later, and there might be one or two other Canadian dates I needed.

I am very happy with my first roll searching of 2010 :)
