@Tuco this is the first S of L half I have found in my area in my 6 years of searching. I have found a couple other S of L halves, both D and S, but they were in boxes, so not as pristine. Interestingly, I am a west-coaster, but the not-as-pristine coins came from the east coast.

4 boxes of halves were skunks today. First skunk boxes of the year :(

However, the first roll in the 2nd box of cents gave up an 1891 IHC. Looking forward to completing that box. Will post the IHC then.

A bit bummed with no silver halves BUT the IHC helps. That, and I sold off the remaining W's I had today as well :)

Hey, did you find any more of my 64 clipped planchets this week? They accidentally fell out of my box and into yours if you did ;)

As promised, here is the IHC that came from yesterday's box. There were only 15 other wheats and a counterstamped Lincoln.

No, there is just a cud or something on the 9. The coin itself is in rather nice shape for a 1959 though.

I found a 1907 Indian Head penny in the last bulk penny bag I got from the bank, and a 1947 dime in a roll. Both in good shape.

    afm1982 Miami has the Dolphins...

Teller score! She had $27.50 in halfs (2x40%, 2x90% -- including a walker). Also, $40 in Ikes that produced 2x '76 type 1

My husband gets my pennies most of the time from the store next to where he works. I find a wheat penny, a dime, or a Canada penny just about every time I search. I don't mean every roll but every about 8 rolls. I'd rather search the rolls somebody rolled not the bank ones they have. They carry both. All the nickels he gets me come from bank rolls though. I just find the hand wrapped rolls have better pennies. If you see my other post I found a bunch of new looking 1975-1979 pennies in a roll hand wrapped.

This morning I received a call from my bank in FL. My order for $4,000 in halves was placed, so I'll be searching 8,000 halves during my vacation next week and reporting finds here :)

I hope the halves aren't all 2018 like my last out-of-my-home-state order :yack:

    HH all!
