I'm up to 16 and trying for a roll, but the best are probably around AU58. Got excited a few weeks ago with a bag that had 38 1974 Ds that were in amazing condition, probably all MS64 or better with great strikes and that golden champagne toning, but not 1 DDO. I'd estimate in my area about 1 out of every 80 74Ds turns out to be a DDO.

I found a 1942P war nickel in a roll of nickels at work.

Is it just me or is there a sudden influx of bicentennial quarters in circulation recently? I pulled a couple that were in great shape, but I seem to be seeing more of them than normal.

Also, I’ve begun finding 2020 dimes in circulated rolls.

Haven't seen any 2020 stuff yet. You know PCGS has a $ competition for those who can find all the new coinage at the highest grade;)

    From 2 boxes. 1 64, 1 60 and the rest 40%'ers.

It’s been a few years since I found these at a bank, but it happened again tonight. Now to decide what to do with them...

Nice! I recently picked up 6 rolls of NIFC Kennedy Mint rolls. I haven’t done anything with them yet. Let us know what you do with yours.

Picked up 2 Loomis boxes today, no enders. But I did get a bonus Presidential Dollar nested loosely in the end of 1 roll. The roll has 20 halves plus the dollar coin. This has actually happened to me once before! How does this happen?

More important question: Why hasn't this happened to me!?

Haha, same here! :D Just searched 2 boxes this evening and was shorted 11 halves (NF String & Son wrapped), but luckily 1-'64D and 17-40%ers offset the $5.50 loss :)

    ****ATTENTION QUARTER ROLL HUNTERS****

Just an observation on my part. I need a reality check. Just curious if you guys are seeing the same thing I am.

So I've been searching boxes of quarters the past 6 months looking for silver but mostly for the new W's. I'm on the East Coast, so we see mostly P's.

I occasionally see the new D's, 2017, 2018 & 2019. Of the new "D" quarters I see, there is a distinct difference in the finish/luster/shine/surface of these coins. Much nicer/brighter then all the Philly's I see. These Denver quarters really jump out at me while searching.

The question is: Have you guys noticed this as well?

Yes. The Denver quarters are shinier, even on the edges.

If any of you have found 2020 dimes already, the edges of the dimes are very deceiving. They're almost white making you think you have silver.

Thanks for that reality check!! And yes, for some reason the copper clad is no showing thru on some of these edges.

Thanks FF! I guess it really shows the disparity between Philly and Denver.

In the last nine boxes of halves, I’ve gotten a whopping total of 2 x 40%ers.
Today I picked up 3 boxes and none had enders. So, I’m thinking more skunk spray to deal with. But thankfully, I ended up with these 5 silvers. The totals for YTD are low compared to last year (69 vs. 307), but I’m still hopeful. Explorers, hunters, fishermen, and CRHers are some of the most optimistic people I know. I guess we have to be or the skunk streaks would make us quit.

4 boxes gave 6 silvers and an 87D NIFC.
5 of the 6 silvers were in the first box. I got excited. The 2nd two boxes were skunk and there was a lone 40%er in the last box.

1 bank tonight had $2.50 loose halves and 1 Ike...the teller pointed out the ‘67 as he handed me the halves :)

The Ike was nothing special, but I’m satisfied!

Not a roll find perse but I did get it from one of my favorite tellers this morning. My first ever silver dollar. After 8 years of searching!
