    Quick penny box hunt this morning produced a 1909 wheat. Sadly not the VDB, but still a first-year Lincoln cent.

    Not too shabby looking either! The 09s that I have found have been worn pretty badly.

    Going through one of my 2 boxes of cents for the week...It has been completely stripped of anything pre-1982. Every.single.cent. is a Zincoln. I've searched close to 700 boxes and I have never seen a mixed box that didn't have a single copper cent in it. I have another one that looks to be exactly the same to go through.

    It's a different style box (the one with the holes) and the NF String wrappers which is different from my normal Loomis boxes/wrappers. I'm not sure what company they came from.

    Looks like I may have gotten a collection dump of toned nickels today. Every one in the roll has this pinkish / rusty toning to it. Ranges from a 1952 S to a 2018 D. Not quite sure what to make of it. Wondering if there are more rolls separated by color?

    So my 4 boxes resulted in:
    Box#1 - No silver, but 1 x 1974-D DDO.
    Box #2 - 2 x 40%ers.
    Box #3 - 5 x 40%ers, 1 x 1977 Mexican 10 Pesos.
    Box #4 - 1 x 1907-D Barber!, 4 x Kennedy 90%ers, 26 x 40%ers, 1 x 1987-D.

    Now I have to add a Barber column to my spreadsheet, lol. It’s very worn but a keeper. The wife searched boxes 3 & 4 with me and we had a good time. Box #4 was my best in a couple of months.

    I just finished my first box of cents for the week. Only post-83 Zincolns and a single lonely 2004P Canadian Cent.

    Gonna keep the 52 S and maybe 2 nice toned pink ones. The rest will go back. First think I thought when I saw them was septic tank coins LOL. Had to put gloves on to look at them!

    I've seen quite a few pink-colored nickels before. I'm sure they came in contact with something nasty.

    I stopped at a bank today on a whim on my way to the auto parts store.

    I had only $50 cash on me, so I bought only $50 worth of cwr halves there. I arrived home, searched them, and found 2, ‘67s. I think they had more cwr halves, so I’ll be stopping by when they are open again Monday!

    -2 dimes
    -3 2009s
    -4 Canadians
    -1 Bahamas coin
    -5 wheat cents

    Wow! You got a 2970 cent! Seriously, unless they're uncirculated proofs or 1970S small dates they're only worth face.
    Also they're not penny's unless they belong to her.
